Mary Quinn has a lot on her mind. James Easton, her longtime love interest, wants to marry her; but despite her feelings, independent-minded Mary hesitates. Meanwhile, the Agency has asked Mary to take on a dangerous case: convicted fraudster Henry Thorold is dying in prison, and Mary must watch for the return of his estranged wife, an accomplished criminal herself who has a potentially deadly grudge against James. Finally, a Chinese prizefighter has arrived in town, and Mary can’t shake a feeling that he is somehow familiar. With the stakes higher than ever, can Mary balance family secrets, conflicting loyalties, and professional expertise to bring a criminal to justice and find her own happiness?

Reasons for my pick this week:

I literally freaked out after finding out about the latest Agency book! Unfortunately, this is going to be the final book in the series. I've been following the series since around 2012 until now. I can't get over the fact that this will be the final book!

The excerpt from the author's website has me falling in love with both Mary and James all over again. Looking forward to witness their non-stop action and solving the mystery. They are unstoppable, to be honest. After reading the excerpt, I can't help but blush because of James Easton.

READ HERE if you get curious about my love for this book and if you get the chance, please do read the first book in the series! Highly recommend. You won't regret it!

When I think about it, I feel like it would kill me to read this book right now at the same time, I hope the time will not come to where I know the story won't lasts forever because it is the final book in the series...Does that makes sense?

What are you waiting on?
