Humanity has colonized on the tidally locked planet Pendomus.

Pendomus has a complex plot for me. Starting with the setting. I couldn't relate with it, as I've never had a vision of a new planet or in this case Helix. Although, I have to say it was nice to have had a great practice expanding my imaginations in creating new worlds like Helix. My mind kept wondering elsewhere, completely occupied with other thoughts instead of the book. I wasn't captivated in some parts of the book.

There was no significant scenes for me to point out either. The plot has a potential though. I thought the mission to find Runa's brother is something to look forward to. Hopefully, it gets better than this too.

The villain, Videus was someone who for reality that sounded as if he was all just words and gibberish. I didn't feel any power from his character. He's a character that doesn't make me feel that I should fear him or intimidated by what he does. It just didn't work for me, I guess. He was plain dull for a villain.

I had a little struggle of understanding Runa and her purpose, especially her being a Daughter of Five. I still had a lot to learn of who will she become one day. She underestimate herself pretty much. I hope she'll finally find out more about her true identity on the journey set out for her.

I might not be able to reread Pendomus again, but I do hope you guys don't see my review as it is because you still have the decision to read the book for yourself and figure it out whether you'll like Pendomus.
