Synopsis:

Identical twins, Maggie and Clara Ryder, both grew up with Leo Maddox, billionaire playboy, apparent alcoholic, and heir to his grandfather's world-famous Maddox hotel empire. Their roles were cemented long ago: Maggie, as his best friend and Clara as his childhood nemesis.

But when a simple twist of fate changes everything and both girls start to fall for the lean, mean, ridiculously sexy and seemingly spoiled Leo... which girl will win his heart?

Throw in a little mischief, drama, and one smoking-hot bartender and lines are sure to blur. But one thing's for certain, neither good-girl Maggie nor rebellious Clara will be satisfied until they each figure out where they belong.

*NEW ADULT ROMANCE. Recommended for 17+ due to sexual situations and adult language*

He Belongs With Me by Sarah Darlington

**Advance review copy provided in exchange for an honest review**

I'm still currently overwhelmed by how the author has directly contacted me and send out a review request for He Belongs With Me (e-ARC). With that, I would to take another time to thank you to Ms Sarah Darlington for providing a review copy for read and review.

The synopsis of He Belongs With Me may have come cliche. However, that wasn't the case for me. It has the unexpected plot twists, right from the beginning I thought I knew what would the next scenarios would be, then all of a sudden it was just entirely new and fresh. The story is told in two points of view, Clara and Maggie Ryder. They both unfold their individual stories and experiences.

Maggie Ryder and Clara Ryder are daughters of Golf's golden boy, Reed Ryder. Rich, high-class, gourmet dining and owner of Reed Ryder Country Club. Two twins who are one and the same in terms of wealth and family blood. When it comes to their true identity, there are not much difference between the twins either.

At first, I have chosen to like Maggie over Clara because she is just really enthusiastic and optimistic despite the worry she felt in her current situation most specifically, her relationship with Clara. I like how she has the guts to express herself well to people. She also has shown good communication skills. As for Clara, I started liking her too when I found out she truly cares about the people that surrounds her life. She has sacrifice so much for Maggie, looking out for her sister and attempting to make things right between them. Although, I have to say Clara is hard to crack and that I thought at first she's a fierce type of sister.

Maggie may have doubted herself but through exploring her true feelings and inner thoughts, she knew enough to have chosen the right decisions, not based solely on her emotions but where truly she see herself content with. Same goes to Clara. She has realized that family is irreplaceable and she has come a long way of finding out for herself that leaving her family is mission impossible. All the more reasons to return home is being reminded by the lovely memories with them and specially the guy who certainly has her heart jumping out of her chest.

He Belongs With Me definitely has the sense of humor, charged romance of any kind - sister love, family love, best friend love, romantic love, true love - despite the fact that I went a little confused because I couldn't figured out some of the characters and their backgrounds are any of good use to the plot itself. Nevertheless, it was engaging and I enjoyed the time reading He Belong With Me.
