My thoughts before heading to read Requiem.

The book cover steals my attention for a moment before I get on with reading it. To me, it shows there that finally we got the whole picture (face) that obscure half it then. I'm implying that in this final installment, many will be revealed to the readers, getting a clear insight of what to come and hopefully a conclusion that will go perfectly as it will sums up the trilogy. The red background that I think it represents passion, her most desires and dangers or perhaps the most difficult decision she may be facing is right all in the book. I just have to figure it out for myself and dive right in and read. I'm ready for this exciting journey and good ending!

My afterthoughts.

Hana's point of views was the one I enjoyed reading, really. Even I was surprised because I really liked Lena in Pandemonium and suddenly it's not her that I like.

O-M-G. I JUST DIED AT THE VERY LAST PAGE OF THE BOOK. *shakes head, amazed* With all the “Then” and “Now” in the book, it was pretty awesome!

It was all there how Lena showed her perseverance and resilience. She knows that with all she is doing— hope and will light penetrate through and find her. She falls and keeps on standing back up. That’s how her character is. I love that about her. Lena reminds me of Katniss from The Hunger Games trilogy. Lena has developed in this book too! Great development actually of the character!! So proud of her! Go get ‘em, girl!

And Julian will resemble a bit of a Peeta here. I know it sounded I’m comparing here but no. It tells me that people should be the same when things get rough. These characters had no choice but to overcome everything just so to survive in a world where they were throw in.

Everything we are here for are challenges every single day. The characters have no way escaping them and doing always best no matter what and that shows something beyond tough. It’s bravery. I hope everyone are like these characters.

Anyway, I guess I was losing the whole point of the book however I don’t think I did not. So I better leave it that way.

It’s a whole new different level compared to Delirium, though I gave Delirium, 4 stars and Pandemonium, 3.5 stars. I guess there’s a reason behind these. I would reasoned it as it was because it pretty much had an idea from The Hunger Games when the author put the new character, Julian in. Pretty much that’s the reason and that’s all. yes! Still I enjoyed reading it!

Overall I liked the book!! I absolutely cannot wait for the third and last installment! Aaah! Last book—Requiem!!

Delirium

The book is written by Lauren Oliver. I like the way she makes me feel like I am Lena in the book. I totally approved her good description of places, emotions and everything. I like it when books are very detailed. For a dystopian-romance novel, I didn’t think it would this good! 

Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love — the deliria — blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

It’s pretty absurd to me asking myself…what if LOVE was a disease?? I found that it’s QUITE possible since our world right now is too much on about LOVE but LOVE is what makes us all have PEACE not PAIN. But it hurts reading this book when everything you do has it’s barrier even when you only communicate/closeness to an opposite sex is considered a broken law – even saying LOVE will get you to the rotting cell laid out ready for you in the Crypts. It makes me sad truly. They aren’t at all free. The people who are cured thought they are living their life when truly it is ALL a big lie.

I am very happy that Hanna and Lenna (Magdelena Ella Haloway, her full name) met Alex Warren (his full and real name is Alex Sheathes) and everything that Lena once before frightens, has descended completely. She has open her eyes wide to all what’s really been happening. Thanks to Hanna too in my opinion, haha!
I can’t wait for Pandemonium soon! It’s the next book after this! I’m hoping that everything will be all right that she’ll rescue Alex and that she gets help from the Wild! — I won’t spoil this…you’ve got to read the book if you really wanna know

P.S. I’ve got a couple of songs that will remind me of this book. Barriers by David Archuleta and Love Story by Taylor Swift. You already know why Barriers but not Love Story. Love Story, because Alex like poetry and Lena loves the love story of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. Actually, I have to think if this book was like Romeo and Juliet. Well…it was close enough to me. Between Romeo and Juliet, they were forbidden to love each other, right? I pretty much see it in this story but…not completely. It has another different part of the story about Lena’s mom. So yeah… I gotta stop here and enjoy the music!
