The Future of Us

It’s 1996, and Josh and Emma have been neighbors their whole lives. They’ve been best friends almost as long – at least, up until last November, when Josh did something that changed everything. Things have been weird between them ever since, but when Josh’s family gets a free AOL CD in the mail, his mom makes him bring it over so that Emma can install it on her new computer. When they sign on, they’re automatically logged onto their Facebook pages. But Facebook hasn’t been invented yet. And they’re looking at themselves fifteen years in the future.
By refreshing their pages, they learn that making different decisions now will affect the outcome of their lives later. And as they grapple with the ups and downs of what their futures hold, they’re forced to confront what they’re doing right – and wrong – in the present.

Not really 5 star for me. I thought it will be a splendid dystopian-in-the-future good book. It’s not a good book. It was ok. But really, I really didn’t like it. It was easy kind of problem in the story. I mean…there’s nothing in it. There’s one thing I learned though. I guess it was… about love. I don’t know what I’m saying. Don’t change who you are. Or something like that.

That’s it. That’s the problem with this book. The problem was not very complicated. It has a bit of a climax but it didn’t trigger mine that much. If you know what I mean by that. I’m not stopping anyone to read this book. You guys can check it out too! It’s up to you if you’re interested to find out about the book. You might like it or not. You and I are have different opinions.

I didn’t get it, you know. Jay Asher’s another book, 13 Reasons Why. I didn’t like that book either. I can’t even continue it. It’s not good!! I don’t think reading another Jay Asher book will be ever good. Ever. I had enough!! Sorry to those fans of Jay Asher books out there. But really… *sigh*
