First of all, I want to say that this book is really an amazing, good read! I actually picked it up by random from the library!
Basically, here's the summary of what the book is about. James (no mentioned surname), a 15-year-old boy who lives in Dunkirk - a small town in western New York. He's got no friends. Friendless. His family is not on good terms. The only person he's got is his brother, Louis - strong, tough, and all with muscles - and looks up to him like he's some kind of hero who can save the world. At least in his 'world' - until admiration turns to disappointment.
"But the main reason I don't feel like a regular kid is because I have to worry about so many things."
The book gave me flashbacks from the nightmare of my past, though it isn't true that it was a nightmare in dream when I sleep, but for real - nightmares happen in reality.

Last Dance at the Frosty Queen

Here's how I'll start this review:
It's perfectly fine whether you go to a library without books in mind that you'll sure to borrow—all it takes is to just pick up a random book from the shelf and start reading. I randomly picked this book up from the library shelf.
"Of all the things this burg lacks, dateable girls would have to be at the top of my list."
That's what I did with this beautiful, well-paced book. It wasn't in my to-read list at all. Sure now it is in mine! And should you read it and add it to yours as well! I was kind of upset that the book wasn't even touched or at least flipped through. I found it just sitting on the shelf, silence library - no one bothers to check out... what possibly the magic it holds.

When I pondered on how will the book be like, my mind can't help but race through so many possible stories just by reading the title and make guesses. It's so interesting too

I thought it is a good, easy and fast read! I enjoyed very much reading it! I picked up this book by random from the shelf at the library. The title and its blue glittery cover has caught my attention and it's behind cover synopsis that I could not help leave it untouched. So I just borrowed it and took it home with me for reading. I couldn't stop my grabby hands from grabbing it off of the shelf.
No regrets! Once I started reading it, I couldn't be disturbed. It was glued in my hands the whole time I couldn't put it down! Too engrossed!

Not really familiar with the author either. Never read one of her books before and I picked up this book by random. Sometimes it's just really awesome that you got to read a random book simply because of how the title attracts you so. That's what happened between this book and me- we just connect. Like it's got something good to trade with me. You read my book and you'll get what you need/want. That whole concept was included in the plot and I find it new and interesting. I'm still finding out how trading anything get to what you want.
"Someone once told me that if you don't know what you want, you'll never get it."
I don't feel like typing out the summary/book synopsis to you because I don't have to. You go prepare yourself to this kind of quest/adventure also you'll get to literally go around the NYC - keeping you on the edge of your seat.

Twenty Boy Summer
“Don’t worry, Anna. I’ll tell her, okay? Just let me think about the best way to do it.”
“Okay.”
“Promise me? Promise you won’t say anything?”
“Don’t worry.” I laughed. “It’s our secret, right?”
According to Anna’s best friend, Frankie, twenty days in Zanzibar Bay is the perfect opportunity to have a summer fling, and if they meet one boy every day, there’s a pretty good chance Anna will find her first summer romance. Anna lightheartedly agrees to the game, but there’s something she hasn’t told Frankie–she’s already had her romance, and it was with Frankie’s older brother, Matt, just before his tragic death one year ago.
TWENTY BOY SUMMER explores what it truly means to love someone, what it means to grieve, and ultimately, how to make the most of every beautiful moment life has to offer.
This is my thought before starting this book: Gonna start reading Twenty Boy Summer. I don’t know what to expect in the book but I hope it’s a good read. I picked this book out of random lol.
Yes it was all a random pick book in the library but I’m glad I found it there just, no one dare picking it up, reading the plot of the story on the back cover. I cried and laughed out loud when reading this book. It felt summer to me. Sarah Ockler, the author, she’s a good author.
The ending was well…. I don’t know yet I’m still figuring it out myself. Maybe you guys read the book for yourself, you feel it coming as you read the last chapter. Good for the two best friends in the book. They patch things up.. got Matt’s necklace. And then…the author end it like that. For Anna I guess, she finally let herself think that reality is reality. Matt is gone and her best friend, Frankie all really ever wanted is for everyone to move on. Anna thought Frankie was the ‘new’ Frankie when she is not, she still the Frankie before and after. The ending was basically it.
I don’t even know if Anna will ever meet Sam again. But it seem final to me. Like real life, you just don’t know what’s gonna happen next. I’m not gonna complain about the ending. It has something I pretty much need time to sink it all in.
